Florida Citrus Paleta


  • 1 cup (240 ml)  Florida orange juice, divided
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • 1 cup (240 ml)  Florida grapefruit juice
  • 1 cup (240 ml)  Florida tangerine juice
  • ½ cup (120 ml) lime juice


Florida Citrus Paleta

Combine ½ cup Florida orange juice, sugar and chili powder in saucepan; stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat; add remaining Florida orange juice, Florida grapefruit juice, tangerine juice and lime juice; stir to combine. Pour into ice pop molds and freeze until solid, preferably overnight.

Serving Suggestion:

For a refreshing Florida Citrus Paleta Cocktail, place 1 Florida Citrus Paleta in a champagne glass; pour chilled champagne over paleta, serve immediately.
