Emma Reynolds Ezell – Potted Plant Filter

Having trouble keeping your plants healthy? Here’s an easy tip you can do at home to make sure your plants continue to thrive. To keep my potted plants healthy, I place a coffee filter at the bottom of each pot. The filter keeps the soil in place and ensures excess water doesn’t erode my soil.

What you’ll need:

  • A coffee filter
  • A plant
  • A pot
  • Soil

Helpful Tip

  • Make sure to not use multiple filters or you will trap too much water in the pot.
