{"id":654,"date":"2018-06-07T16:03:21","date_gmt":"2018-06-07T20:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=654"},"modified":"2024-06-14T12:41:18","modified_gmt":"2024-06-14T16:41:18","slug":"orange-smores-recipe","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/orange-smores-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange S\u2019mores (smores) Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons alignright is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/intl-floridacitrus.pantheonsite.io\/www-floridacitrus-quebec\/\/oj\/recipes\/recette-de-smores-a-lorange\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">French<\/a><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1\/2 cup (120 ml) +1 tablespoon Florida Orange Juice<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tablespoon Florida orange zest<\/li>\r\n<li>1 cup Florida tangerines, segmented<\/li>\r\n<li>1 cup graham cracker crumbles<\/li>\r\n<li>1-1\/2 cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/4 tsps salt<\/li>\r\n<li>1 packet dry yeast<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/3 cup honey<\/li>\r\n<li>1 cup warm water<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/2 cup 55% cocoa chocolate<\/li>\r\n<li>8 each marshmallows<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/2 cup sugar<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>In an electric mixer with a dough hook, combine the zest, graham crumbles, flour and salt. Mix at a low speed.<\/p>\r\n<p>In a separate bowl, mix 1 tablespoons orange juice, yeast, honey and warm water. Allow mixture to rest for 3 minutes. Add to the zest\u2013graham cracker mixture and increase speed to medium.<\/p>\r\n<p>After about 5 minutes, remove the dough hook and allow dough to proof in a warm area. Once the dough doubles in size (about 45 minutes), punch it down, roll it into a loaf pan, and allow it to rise for another 15 minutes. Bake at 325\u00baF for 40 minutes.<\/p>\r\n<p>While the bread is baking, melt the chocolate and dip the tangerine segments halfway. Refrigerate to harden chocolate.<\/p>\r\n<p>In a small pot, melt the sugar until golden brown. Add the 1\/2 cup orange juice and reduce for 1 minute. Allow to cool for 3 minutes before drizzling over the marshmallows.<\/p>\r\n<p>Once the bread is baked, allow it to cool. Cut into 1\/4-inch slices in a mixture of patterns.
