This flavorful recipe using Florida Orange Juice can be the centerpiece for any meal.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>2 cups (480 ml) Florida Orange Juice<\/li>\r\n<li>1 Florida Orange, peeled and diced<\/li>\r\n<li>1 lb. lean ground turkey<\/li>\r\n<li>1 cup whole rolled oats<\/li>\r\n<li>1 egg, beaten<\/li>\r\n<li>1 \u00bd tsp. Italian seasoning<\/li>\r\n<li>2 \u00bd tsp. coarse salt, divided<\/li>\r\n<li>1 \u00bd tsp. ground black pepper<\/li>\r\n<li>6 tbsp. rice wine vinegar<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd cup tomato paste<\/li>\r\n<li>4 tsp. cornstarch<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tsp. black pepper<\/li>\r\n<li>Fresh herbs for garnish<\/li>\r\n<li>Butter noodles<\/li>\r\n<li>Parmesan cheese<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>1. In large bowl, combine turkey, oats, Florida Orange Juice, egg, Italian seasoning, 1\u20442 teaspoon salt and 1\u20442 teaspoon pepper; mix well.<\/p>\r\n<p>2. Roll mixture into walnut-sized balls, making approximately 28 meatballs. Place meatballs onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes, or until lightly browned.<\/p>\r\n<p>3. Whisk together Florida Orange Juice, vinegar, tomato paste, cornstarch, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon pepper.<\/p>\r\n<p>4. Line the bottom of your slow cooker with meatballs, drizzle with Florida Orange Juice sauce, then remaining meatballs followed by the remaining sauce. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours, gently stirring an hour after cooking.<\/p>\r\n<p>5. When done, serve meatballs on toothpicks garnished with fresh herbs, if desired.
