{"id":640,"date":"2018-06-07T15:09:01","date_gmt":"2018-06-07T19:09:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=640"},"modified":"2024-06-04T11:14:51","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T15:14:51","slug":"orange-tarragon-ginger-shrimp-with-rice-noodles","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/orange-tarragon-ginger-shrimp-with-rice-noodles\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange Tarragon Ginger Shrimp With Rice Noodles"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1 cup (240 ml) Florida orange juice<\/li>\r\n<li>12 jumbo raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails attached<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tablespoons fresh tarragon, finely chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tablespoon olive oil<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 shallot, finely chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 (8-ounce) package rice noodles, prepared according to package directions<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tablespoon sesame seed oil<\/li>\r\n<li>Nonstick cooking spray<\/li>\r\n<li>2 cups fresh snow peas<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tablespoon Asian hot chili sauce, optional<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Combine orange juice, shrimp, tarragon, olive oil, ginger and shallot in a zipper-seal plastic bag. Seal bag securely; toss gently to combine ingredients. Marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Prepare rice noodles according to package directions. Drain and combine with sesame seed oil; toss to coat evenly; reserve.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Spray wok with nonstick cooking spray and heat over medium heat. Drain shrimp mixture; reserve 1\/2 cup marinade and discard remaining marinade. Add shrimp and reserved 1\/2 cup of marinade to wok; bring to a boil and stir fry shrimp for 1 to 2 minutes. Add snow peas; stir fry for 3 more minutes, just until snow peas are tender crisp and shrimp is cooked through. Add sesame seeds and chili sauce, if desired.
