{"id":608,"date":"2018-06-07T14:23:18","date_gmt":"2018-06-07T18:23:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=608"},"modified":"2024-06-04T11:32:37","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T15:32:37","slug":"florida-oj-homemade-shrimp-ravioli","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/florida-oj-homemade-shrimp-ravioli\/","title":{"rendered":"Florida OJ Homemade Shrimp Ravioli"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1 cup (240 ml) Florida Orange Juice<\/li>\r\n<li>9 oz. shrimp, 16-20 count, peeled and deveined<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bc cup green onion, chopped, divided<\/li>\r\n<li>1 cup parsnip, blanched and chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 cup plum tomatoes, chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 wonton wrapper pack (16 pieces)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Place raw shrimp in a bowl. Add the Florida Orange Juice and half of the green onion; cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.<\/p>\r\n<p>In another bowl, combine the cooked parsnip, chopped tomatoes and remaining green onion; reserve.<\/p>\r\n<p>Preheat a large saut\u00e9 pan. Remove the shrimp from the marinade; discard marinade. Saut\u00e9 shrimp until cooked thoroughly (3\u20134 minutes); cool and chop roughly.<\/p>\r\n<p>Combine chopped shrimp with the parsnip mixture.<\/p>\r\n<p>Lay out 8 wonton wrappers. Moisten the four sides of the wonton wrappers with a little water.<\/p>\r\n<p>Place a spoonful of the shrimp\/parsnip mixture in the middle of the wonton and cover with another wonton, pressing firmly around the moistened edges to seal.<\/p>\r\n<p>When all raviolis are made, place into boiling water to cook for 2\u20133 minutes, until the wonton is soft.
