{"id":585,"date":"2018-06-07T13:20:20","date_gmt":"2018-06-07T17:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=585"},"modified":"2024-06-04T11:44:20","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T15:44:20","slug":"pork-tenderloin-with-apple-citrus-chutney","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/pork-tenderloin-with-apple-citrus-chutney\/","title":{"rendered":"Pork Tenderloin with Apple Citrus Chutney"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1 (1-pound) pork tenderloin, trimmed<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tbsp. stone-ground mustard<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tbsp. olive oil<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/2 cup finely chopped onion<\/li>\r\n<li>1 garlic clove, finely chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/2 jalape\u00f1o, seeded and finely chopped*<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tablespoon brown sugar<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon peeled, grated fresh ginger<\/li>\r\n<li>3 Florida tangerines, peeled, sectioned and chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>3 tablespoons cider vinegar<\/li>\r\n<li>1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh sage<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Preheat grill to medium-high (375 to 400 degrees). Coat pork with mustard, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Place pork on grill. Grill 15 to 25 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer registers 155 degrees. Remove pork from grill and let stand.<\/p>\r\n<p>Meanwhile, for the Tangerine-Apple Chutney, in a large saut\u00e9 pan heat oil over medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes. Add garlic, jalape\u00f1o, brown sugar and ginger; cook and stir 5 minutes more. Add tangerines, apple, vinegar and sage; simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until apple is softened. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Thinly slice the pork and serve with Tangerine-Apple Chutney.<\/p>\r\n<p>*Use caution when handling hot peppers.
