{"id":438,"date":"2018-06-06T14:38:14","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T18:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=438"},"modified":"2024-06-04T13:24:46","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T17:24:46","slug":"rosemary-grilled-orange-chicken","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/rosemary-grilled-orange-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Rosemary Grilled Orange Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>3\/4 cup (180 ml) 100% Florida orange juice<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/2 cup plain yogurt<\/li>\r\n<li>1 large garlic clove, minced<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/4 cup vegetable oil<\/li>\r\n<li>6 to 8 (5-ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/2 cup Orange Marmalade (see recipe)<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tablespoons Florida orange juice<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tablespoons minced fresh rosemary leaves<\/li>\r\n<li>Salt<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__title\">Step 1:<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>In a medium bowl combine \u00be cup orange juice, yogurt, garlic and cayenne; mix well. Whisk in oil. Place chicken in a shallow dish. Pour orange juice mixture over chicken; cover and refrigerate 1 to 3 hours.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__title\">Step 2:<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>In a small saucepan combine Orange Marmalade, 2 tablespoons orange juice, rosemary, and salt to taste. Place over medium-low heat and cook until marmalade melts, stirring occasionally.\u00a0 Cover and keep warm.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__title\">Step 3:<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Preheat grill to medium (300 to 350 degrees). Remove chicken from marinade. Pour marinade into a small saucepan; bring to boiling over high heat. Boil 3 minutes; remove from heat.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__title\">Step 4:<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Place chicken on grill. Grill 6 minutes per side or until an instant-read thermometer registers 165 degrees, turning and basting frequently with the cooked marinade. During the last 3 minutes of grilling, brush chicken with orange\u2013rosemary mixture.
