Made with the great taste and nutritional benefits of\u00a0Florida Orange Juice, our bowl is packed with\u00a0<a title=\"Vitamin C and Florida Orange Juice\" href=\"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/\/health-nutrition\/nutritional-information\/vitamin-c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vitamin C<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a title=\"Potassium in Florida Orange Juice\" href=\"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/\/health-nutrition\/nutritional-information\/potassium-in-florida-orange-juice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">potassium<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>\u00bd cup (60ml) + 2 tbsp.\u00a0Florida Orange Juice<\/li>\r\n<li>\u2154 (160ml) cup water<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd cup bulgur<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tsp. kosher salt, divided<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tbsp. olive oil, divided<\/li>\r\n<li>2 cups thinly sliced carrots<\/li>\r\n<li>2 cups packed chopped kale<\/li>\r\n<li>1 15-oz. can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed<\/li>\r\n<li>Freshly ground black pepper to taste<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tbsp. chopped parsley<\/li>\r\n<li>4 hard-boiled eggs (optional)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\r\n<table class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-time\">\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th>Prep Time<\/th>\r\n<th>Cook Time<\/th>\r\n<th>Total Time<\/th>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-time__prep-time\">5 minutes<\/td>\r\n<td class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-time__cook-time\">25 minutes<\/td>\r\n<td class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-time__total-time\">30 minutes<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>1. Combine the water and \u00bd cup\u00a0Florida Orange Juice\u00a0in a small saucepan, set over high heat and bring to a simmer.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>2.\u00a0Add the bulgur and \u00bd teaspoon of salt and stir to combine.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>3.\u00a0Cover, remove from the heat and set aside for 15 minutes or until most of the liquid has absorbed and the bulgur is tender.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>4.\u00a0In the meantime, place one tablespoon of olive oil in a medium saut\u00e9 pan and set over medium high heat until the oil shimmers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>5.\u00a0Add the carrots and remaining \u00bd teaspoon of salt.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>6. Cook, stirring frequently, for 3 to 4 minutes or until the carrots just begin to turn golden.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>7. Add the kale and continue to cook another 2 to 3 minutes or until the kale is wilted and the carrots are tender.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>8.\u00a0Combine remaining two tablespoons of Florida Orange Juice and one tablespoon of olive oil in a small jar and shake.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>9. Transfer bulgur, carrots, kale and beans to a large mixing bowl, season with freshly ground black pepper and add Florida Orange Juice dressing and toss to combine.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>10.\u00a0Taste bulgur and season with additional salt and pepper as desired.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>11.\u00a0Garnish with parsley<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our Heart Healthy Bulgur Grain Bowl offers a healthy and flavorful meal for your whole family to enjoy.
