{"id":317,"date":"2018-06-06T11:11:53","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T15:11:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=317"},"modified":"2024-06-04T14:27:29","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T18:27:29","slug":"florida-oj-maple-pork-roast","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/florida-oj-maple-pork-roast\/","title":{"rendered":"Florida OJ Maple Pork Roast"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1 (6-rib) rack of pork, uncut, approximately 3 \u00be\u00a0lbs.<\/li>\r\n<li>2 cups (480 ml) Florida Orange Juice<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bc cup maple syrup<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bc lb.\u00a0unsalted butter, at room temperature<\/li>\r\n<li>2 sprigs fresh rosemary, minced<\/li>\r\n<li>Florida Orange Slices, if desired<\/li>\r\n<li>Rosemary sprigs, if desired<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Preheat oven to 375\u00b0 F.<\/p>\r\n<p>In large saut\u00e9 pan, sear pork rack on all sides until golden brown. Transfer pork rack to roasting pan; place in oven.<\/p>\r\n<p>Place Florida Orange Juice in small saucepan over medium heat; reduce to \u00bc cup and cool.<\/p>\r\n<p>Combine reduced Florida Orange Juice, maple syrup, butter and rosemary in mixing bowl; mix until combined.<\/p>\r\n<p>Place sheet of plastic wrap on counter; place butter mixture on top of plastic wrap. Roll butter mixture into log shape; seal tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate or freeze until butter mixture is firm.\u00a0 Cook pork until internal temperature reaches 145\u00b0 F; remove from oven and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes.<\/p>\r\n<p>Slice pork rack into 6 ribs; place each pork rib on serving plate. Slice seasoned butter; place several slices of butter on top of each rib. Garnish with Florida Orange Slices and rosemary sprigs, if desired.
