The fennel is full of vitamin C, potassium, and manganese. The arugula is loaded with vitamin K, iron potassium and magnesium. All these nutrients work with 100% orange juice to support bone health and electrolyte balance for proper nerve function.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1 cup (240ml) Florida Orange Juice<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tsp. garlic, minced<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00be cup low sodium chicken broth<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bc tsp. black pepper<\/li>\r\n<li>1 whole wheat French baguette, cut into 16 slices<\/li>\r\n<li>5.3 oz goat cheese<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd cup almonds, chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>10 basil leaves, chiffonade<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd cup arugula<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tbsp. honey<\/li>\r\n<li>2 cups medium fennel bulbs, cored and chopped<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>1. Core, remove tops and dice fennel.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>2. Chop almonds in a food processor and set aside.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>3. Mince garlic in a food processor.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>4. Saut\u00e9 fennel with garlic and one tablespoon olive oil for five minutes or until browned.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>5. Deglaze pan with Florida Orange Juice, scraping brown bits up to incorporate into liquid.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>6. Add chicken broth and black pepper, bring to a boil, and reduce until liquid is almost fully absorbed, approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Let cool.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>7. Slice baguette into \u00bc inch slices and toast.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>8. Spread with goat cheese, top with fennel mixture and chopped almonds.
