{"id":300,"date":"2018-06-06T10:42:15","date_gmt":"2018-06-06T14:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=300"},"modified":"2024-06-04T14:34:14","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T18:34:14","slug":"florida-oj-steamed-sea-bass","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/florida-oj-steamed-sea-bass\/","title":{"rendered":"Florida OJ Steamed Sea Bass"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>2 cups (480 ml) Florida Orange Juice<\/li>\r\n<li>Florida Orange Curls, if desired<\/li>\r\n<li>4 tablespoons unsalted butter<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd bunch fresh thyme, chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 shallot, minced<\/li>\r\n<li>6 (4 oz.) striped bass fillets<\/li>\r\n<li>Thyme sprigs, if desired<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Preheat oven to 375\u00b0 F.<\/p>\r\n<p>Place butter, thyme and shallots in small saucepan over medium heat. Cook until shallots are translucent; add\u00a0Florida Orange\u00a0Juice. Simmer; reduce mixture to one-half volume.<\/p>\r\n<p>Place large sheet of aluminum foil in roasting pan; fold up edges on all sides. Place 1 fillet of bass in middle of foil; pour 1\/6 of\u00a0Florida Orange Juice\u00a0mixture over bass. Fold edges of foil together and seal on all sides to enclose bass in foil packet. Repeat for each bass fillet.<\/p>\r\n<p>Place foil packet(s) on roasting pan in oven; cook 8 to 10 minutes or until desired temperature. Remove from oven. Carefully open foil packet; place bass on serving plate and spoon Florida Orange Juice mixture over bass.
