{"id":248,"date":"2018-06-05T16:01:44","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T20:01:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=248"},"modified":"2024-06-04T15:28:43","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T19:28:43","slug":"florida-oj-spaghetti-squash-noodles-with-chicken","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/florida-oj-spaghetti-squash-noodles-with-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Florida OJ Spaghetti Squash Noodles with Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1 cup (240 ml) Florida Orange Juice, divided<\/li>\r\n<li>2 cups spaghetti squash<\/li>\r\n<li>2 cups plum tomato, diced<\/li>\r\n<li>1 garlic clove, minced<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd large, yellow onion, cut into small dice<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tsp. fresh thyme, minced<\/li>\r\n<li>9 oz.\u00a0roasted chicken, sliced<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>1. Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F.<\/p>\r\n<p>2. Slice the squash in half, lengthwise from tip to tip; scoop out seeds with spoon.<\/p>\r\n<p>3. Lay squash halves on a sheet pan, cut side down; pour half of the\u00a0Florida Orange\u00a0Juice\u00a0onto the pan and place in oven.<\/p>\r\n<p>4. Cook until tender when pierced with a knife, about 40\u201350 minutes.<\/p>\r\n<p>5. In a large saut\u00e9 pan over medium heat, add the tomatoes, garlic, onion, and thyme.<\/p>\r\n<p>6. Cook until onions are soft and translucent, 5\u20138 minutes. Add remaining Florida Orange Juice.<\/p>\r\n<p>7. Reduce until liquid is almost gone, about 3\u20134 minutes.<\/p>\r\n<p>8. Add sliced chicken and warm until internal temperature of 165\u00b0F has been reached.<\/p>\r\n<p>9.
