{"id":170,"date":"2018-06-04T16:29:12","date_gmt":"2018-06-04T20:29:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=170"},"modified":"2024-06-05T05:40:18","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T09:40:18","slug":"farmed-arctic-char-with-orange-sambal-glaze-and-baby-bok-choy","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/farmed-arctic-char-with-orange-sambal-glaze-and-baby-bok-choy\/","title":{"rendered":"Farmed Arctic Char With Orange Sambal Glaze And Baby Bok Choy"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1 cup (240 ml) Florida Orange Juice<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/4 cup (60 ml) Carrot juice<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/4 cup Fresh ginger, minced<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/4 cup Sambal<\/li>\r\n<li>1\/4 cup Green onion, minced<\/li>\r\n<li>4\u20138 each, depending on size Baby bok choy<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tablespoons Olive oil<\/li>\r\n<li>2 cups Mirin<\/li>\r\n<li>4 each Arctic char, portioned into 6-oz. pieces<\/li>\r\n<li>Salt<\/li>\r\n<li>Pepper<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>In a 2-quart saucepan, add the orange juice, carrot juice and 2 tablespoons minced ginger. Reduce the amount of liquid to one-third. Remove from heat and add the sambal; set aside to cool. When cool, mix in the green onion.<\/p>\r\n<p>Slice the bok choy in half lengthwise.<\/p>\r\n<p>In a large rondeau over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons olive oil. Lay the sliced side of the bok choy down in the oil. Saut\u00e9 until lightly golden brown; add 2 tablespoons minced ginger and the mirin. Place a cover over the pan, reduce the heat to medium and braise until fork tender, approximately 3\u20134 minutes.<\/p>\r\n<p>Remove the bok choy from the pan. Reduce the ginger and mirin until almost dry.
