{"id":139,"date":"2018-06-04T12:46:01","date_gmt":"2018-06-04T16:46:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=139"},"modified":"2024-06-05T06:00:37","modified_gmt":"2024-06-05T10:00:37","slug":"chargrilled-lamb-skewers-with-spicy-fruit-salsa","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/oj\/recipes\/chargrilled-lamb-skewers-with-spicy-fruit-salsa\/","title":{"rendered":"Chargrilled Lamb Skewers with Spicy Fruit Salsa"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For the lamb:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1-1\/2 pounds loin of lamb, cut into 3-inch long pieces<\/li>\r\n<li>1 teaspoon olive oil<\/li>\r\n<li>Salt and freshly-milled black pepper<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For the Salsa:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon cumin seeds<\/li>\r\n<li>1 teaspoon coriander seeds<\/li>\r\n<li>1 Florida orange, segmented and chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 pink Florida grapefruit, segmented and chopped<\/li>\r\n<li>1 small pomegranate<\/li>\r\n<li>Small bunch of mint, chopped<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Crush the cumin and coriander seeds in a pestle and mortar and mix with the orange, grapefruit, mint and pomegranate seeds. Now skewer the lamb onto pre-soaked wooden or metal skewers.
