{"id":1896,"date":"2024-03-19T13:54:49","date_gmt":"2024-03-19T17:54:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/grapefruit\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=1896"},"modified":"2024-03-19T13:54:51","modified_gmt":"2024-03-19T17:54:51","slug":"pancakes-with-florida-grapefruit-honey-and-greek-yogurt","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/grapefruit\/recipes\/pancakes-with-florida-grapefruit-honey-and-greek-yogurt\/","title":{"rendered":"Pancakes with Florida Grapefruit, Honey, and Greek Yogurt"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\"><li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">3 Florida Grapefruit, zest for pancakes\u00a0<\/li><li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">100g Caster sugar\u00a0<\/li><li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">300g self-raising flour\u00a0<\/li><li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">2 large free range eggs\u00a0<\/li><li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">300ml milk (approximately)<\/li><li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">1 tbsp honey\u00a0<\/li><li itemprop=\"recipeIngredient\">Greek yogurt, spoonful<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2>Preparation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Cut the top and bottom off the Florida Grapefruit, then slice the outer skin from the fruit.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut the fruit into slices and place into a frying pan with the sugar on a low heat.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave the sugar to dissolve as it heats up and simmer for 10 minutes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meanwhile, to make the pancakes, place the flour, eggs, milk, and honey into a mixing bowl and whisk together to form a thick batter that can pour.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pre-heat a non-stick frying pan and add just a little oil.
