{"id":1859,"date":"2024-03-18T15:57:59","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T19:57:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/grapefruit\/?post_type=fdoc-recipe&#038;p=1859"},"modified":"2024-06-14T17:39:24","modified_gmt":"2024-06-14T21:39:24","slug":"chicken-with-chili-florida-grapefruit-and-ginger-stir-fry","status":"publish","type":"fdoc-recipe","link":"https:\/\/www.floridacitrus.ca\/grapefruit\/recipes\/chicken-with-chili-florida-grapefruit-and-ginger-stir-fry\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken with Chili, Florida Grapefruit, and Ginger Stir Fry"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\">Fran\u00e7ais<\/a><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>2 Florida Grapefruit<\/li>\r\n<li>400g diced chicken thigh<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tbsp olive oil\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>1 red chili, chopped\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>1 thumb of ginger, sliced<\/li>\r\n<li>1 garlic clove, chopped\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>1 handful of coriander stalks for the sauce and leaf to finish\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>4 tbsp soy sauce\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tbsp corn flour\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>500g ready-to-wok noodles\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<li>Handful of peanuts\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\r\n<li>Pre-heat a wok and add the oil and chicken to the pan. Cook on high heat for 5 minutes until golden.<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Meanwhile, crush the peppercorns and add to the pan with the chicken.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Scatter in the chopped red chilli, ginger, and the garlic. Chop the coriander stalks and add to the pan.\u00a0<\/li>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<li>Continue to cook for a further 5 minutes, then cut the Florida Grapefruit in half and squeeze out the juice over the chicken.
