Tender meat that melts off the bone marinated with our Florida Grapefruit rub pairs perfectly with a green salad, or an extra serving of ribs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>900 g braising beef short ribs<\/li>\r\n<li>200 g dark brown sugar<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tbsp. smoked paprika<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tsp. ground ginger<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bc tsp. cayenne pepper<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd tsp. ground coriander seed<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tsp. garlic powder<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tsp. ground black pepper<\/li>\r\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd zest of 1 Florida Grapefruit<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd the juice of 1 Florida Grapefruit<\/li>\r\n<li>125 ml water<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p><br \/>Pre-heat oven to 165\u00b0 C. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, stir together brown sugar, paprika, ginger, cayenne pepper, coriander, garlic, black pepper, salt and zest.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Generously coat ribs in sugar rub and transfer to a 23 x 33 cm roasting pan.Pour remaining sugar over top of ribs and pat down creating a thick layer.Stir water and grapefruit juice together and pour into the bottom of the roasting pan.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step\">\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-instructions-step__text\">\r\n<div>\r\n<p>Cover pan with foil and cook for 1\u00bd hrs.
