Char Florida Grapefruit segments for a balance of salty and sweet in this jam-packed delicious salad.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-fdoc-recipe-ingredients\">\r\n<li>2 Florida Grapefruit, peeled and segmented<\/li>\r\n<li>Handful of greens for salad<\/li>\r\n<li>50g roasted almonds<\/li>\r\n<li>2 tbsp pomegranate seeds<\/li>\r\n<li>12 mint leaves, finely sliced<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd tsp sea salt flakes<\/li>\r\n<li>1 block of halloumi, sliced<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd tsp sumac<\/li>\r\n<li>\u00bd tsp za\u2019atar<\/li>\r\n<li>1 tsp runny honey<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>1. Start by preparing your grapefruit \u2013 peel and then segment to remove any pith and seeds. Then blow torch or place under a grill so that one side of the segments is charred. This brings out the sweetness of the grapefruit and adds a lovely depth of flavour.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>2. Cook your halloumi and smoked almonds in hot oil for 4-5 mins with sumac and za\u2019atar until golden.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>3. Toss your salad in a large bowl with the warm halloumi, charred Florida Grapefruit segments and pomegranate seeds.
