Get your daily dose of vitamin d

We’ve all heard that there is such thing as “too much of a good thing.” Well, when it comes to vitamin d that saying goes right out the window. It seems that no matter how much vitamin d we take, we’re told we need more. While we tend to rely on supplements (not to mention sunshine when we can get it) to get our recommended daily intake, a recent study from Boston University School of Medicine showed that getting vitamin d from fortified orange and grapefruit juice is just as effective as its capsule alternative. So instead of popping vitamin after vitamin we can enjoy a large, healthy glass of Florida’s finest.
